Information:               Midwifery is becoming a more viable option in this country than in the past. In fact a good portion of the world (Industrialized and Underdeveloped) uses midwives for delivering babies. Statistics show that more invasive techniques like C-Sections are less likely with a midwife. There are a lot of myths out there about midwifery that need to be dispelled and for more information on midwifery we suggest you go to the Kentucky Home Birth Coalitions webpage.
