Committee:                House Elections Committee

Timeframe:                 Committee meets every Monday @ 2PM in Annex Room 171

Message is for:           All House Leadership, Your Representative, and Members of the House Elections Committee

Message:                     “Support SB 137. No pay until redistricting is completed when legislators are required to draw redistricting maps, as well as keeps as many counties whole as possible.”

Optional:                    E-mail the legislators on the committee. Example e-mail address: Firstname.Lastname@lrc.ky.gov . If that doesn’t work they have a contact page on their informational page.

Information:               This bill would require the General Assembly to stay in session when they are required to do redistricting after the census. This bill would not allow legislators to receive pay or reimbursed expenses until they did so. They are also required to keep as many counties as possible whole, they are not to be split up unless it is absolutely necessary.

One Response to “Support SB 137: Redistricting”

  1. Kevin Potts says:

SB 136 is a bill making Kratom illegal. 137 is the redistricting. Please do not support SB136.
