TBK Has a New Moderator: Meet Rick Treitz!

Published on 12 September 2016 by in Information

Hi All –

First let me thank everyone for your support !   As I said, I’m not Norm – nobody is – and trying to fill his shoes is a tall order.  I appreciate your trust and confidence in me and I hope I can live up to y’alls expectations

Let me share a bit about myself.

My father was a WWII pilot, patriot and Goldwater conservative; he trained me well. I worked in seismic engineering for 20 yrs, and I’ve been in the health and wellness field for the last 15 yrs.

I participated in several liberty groups in the 80’s and 90’s. I’ll share one (of many) story. A group of us “rabble-rousers” shut down the Federal courthouse in Atlanta by passing out ‘Fully Informed Jury’ information. Judge O’Kelly exclaimed from the bench, “The jury’s [pool] been contaminated!!”

Though I have not been with TBK from the very beginning, I have been around for a good long while – I attended my first TBK mtg. in 2001.

TBK has over the years has dealt with many important issues, from guns, to property and family rights, to Real ID, and others. All of these I believe can be reduced to this: are our laws constitutional? And even more fundamental, why do we have a constitution? As stated in the Declaration of Independence, the purpose of government is “to secure” our God-given rights. Period. And, “the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God” entitle us.

“These are the eternal, immutable laws of good and evil … Upon these two foundations – the Law of Nature and the Law of Revelation – depend all human laws; that is to say, no human laws should be suffered to contradict these.”                                                           Blackstone’s Commentaries on the Law’

In a nutshell, I believe in God and Country, the Laws of Nature, and the Laws of God. And our legislators need to understand these principles.

I have proposed a ‘Leadership Council’ to analyze our current position, determine our near-term initiatives, and cast a vision for the future. Also, this will allow for a smooth transition of leadership should that be needed in the future. The group will vote on this council at our meeting this Sat. 9/17.

Please email me at takebackkentucky@gmail.com.

PLEASE do not send me any junk mail, stories about the Antichrist, the end of the world or America, the FED, the Illuminati, etc, etc. If you didn’t write it, please don’t send it.

Also, please don’t get bogged down in National politics and issues (although we do deal with such occasionally). Remember, this is Take Back KENTUCKY. Let’s try to stick to legislation and campaigns here in the Commonwealth.

Please DO send me your thoughts and ideas on where you think the group should head in the future. And if there are urgent matters locally or statewide, do send those along.

I do read email but please do not be upset if I don’t respond to every message immediately (or at all)  – you know how your inbox fills up. And if you have any complaints, please keep those to yourself. Oops, just kidding! Seriously, if you’ve got any issues with me or the group, do let me know. I’d prefer to deal with things straight-up rather than having a bunch of rumors and gossip flying around. Remember to take your problems to someone who can do something about it.

Let’s pick up the baton and run toward the next level of our achievement !

And I look forward to serving you and the Commonwealth.

I’ll conclude with this quote, “God governs in the affairs of men … And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground beyond His notice, is it probable that an empire can arise without His aid?”      Ben Franklin

Your new Moderator,

Rick (Richard) Treitz

  1. Amy Mischler says:

    Dear Mr. Treitz,

When we first met it was regarding corruption in Russell Spring KY.

I thought my battle with the Cabinet was over when we met. I have since learned that the Cabinet continued to create records that I was a substantiated child abuser even though I had cleared my name.

I am having no success with Governor Bevin’ s administration getting the Cabinet to correct its conduct of continuing to call me a substantiated child abuser. They simply refuse to admit that the misconduct took place.

I feel this is in large part because Governor Bevin put in people from Ernie Fletcher’s administration in the Bevin Administration in the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.

My issue is serious because I believe at the local level that the CPS workers are being used to politically blackball people by substantiating child abuse against them. Then no due process is notice is given as required and people don’t even know that the Cabinet has them listed as a child abuser.

Then the whisper campaign starts because those Cabinet online records are not confidential because literally thousands of employees can access them without any digital trace showing who accessed records.

I just really don’t know whether Governor Bevin is as liberty minded as he says he is.

I will be sending you a copy with supporting documents that I sent to him.

    Sincerely yours,

    Amy Mischler
